ENTERPRISE DEDICATED SERVERS

Linux Enterprise Dedicated Servers and Windows Enterprise Dedicated Servers were launched as we noticed a gap in our product range from Shared Hosting to Dedicated Hosting. We found that many customers needed the power of a Dedicated Server, but only wanted the responsibility of a Shared Hosting account. For the first time, we have launched a Dedicated Server using the same environment and settings as our Shared Hosting accounts.

The concept is fairly simple. Our Enterprise Dedicated Servers are setup to be identical to our Shared Hosting Servers. They have the same security settings, and are also actively monitored using various scripts to ensure each individual service is running. If a problem is detected, our staff are notified just like they would be if a Shared Hosting Server had a problem. Each server is also setup with Raid 1 in order to minimize potential problems. Backups are also taken daily, just like our Shared Hosting Servers. All servers are built using branded Dell Server Chassis and recommended hardware.

In order for us to offer this product, we did need to impose some security restrictions. The main security restriction is the root/Administrator login not been given to customers. This is done so that we can ensure only our technicians can perform software updates, security changes, maintenance and optimizations. This enables us to be in total control over the hosting environment, which basically means we can GUARANTEE the security and performance of your server. All changes needed to be made can be done via our Support Department. As with all our hosting products, 24 hour support is provided. If you need a change made to your server, you can contact us at any time and the changes will be made.

Each Linux Enterprise Dedicated Servers is installed with cPanel/WHM, while Windows Enterprise Dedicated Servers are installed with DotNetPanel. Plesk can also be opted for on the Windows Environment. Reseller access is then given to the customer. As the reseller, you will then be able to create and manage accounts as you would do using a Shared Hosting account.

Of course, we do understand that there is a big trust element involved here. Specifically, the server specifications. At any given time, we will provide root/Administrator details in order for you to check the server specification. In the interest of security and peformance, we won't allow remote changes to be made. The root/Administrator password will then be changed after you have finished your session.
