Default cPanel 11 & SpamAssassin Issues

I guess this is only directly applicable to those with Root access ...

Since updating cPanel, my mail queue began filling with "Mail Delivery Failed" messages which were reporting delivery failures of messages tagged by the new SpamAssassin ACL-based transport system — that's messages that would otherwise be delivered to valid recipients on my system. Message body has this type of info:
Quote:
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

user@domain.com
The mail server detected your message as spam and has prevented delivery (200).
The problem for me is that previously I had SpamAssassin set to auto-discard any message that exceeded the chosen tagging score and now this new system fails to do this. Considering the large numbers of emails that get tagged these days, that represents a significant and rapid growth in the mail queue!

Support weren't able to resolve this and suggested it must be another cPanel 11 bug — in frustration I chose to have a look in Exim Configuration Editor and discovered a variety of new options, one of which was to revert to the old transport-based SpamAssassin system. I'm pleased to report it seems to have resolved the problem — all tagged messages are again being auto-discarded.
