I presume you're asking Mark ? If it helps, I've tried some tests installing a couple of Fantastico scripts in accounts that have been updated and also not, with the result that the databases now succeed in being installed correctly, in both cases.
I did find a difficulty in uninstalling Viper Guestbook after it had some data added — if fails on my
Dedicated Server with this:
Warning: shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons in
/home/accountname/public_html/viper/prepare_removal.php on line
32
Operation completed. Close this window and proceed with removal.
Consequently I had to uninstall manually — I asked Support to inform me of whether shell_exec() is disabled for a reason. A further thought on this is that this may have been an issue before the update — I'm not normally in the habit of uninstalling scripts in order to discover these issues!
