Is the cron job setup correctly for massmailing?
Normally a maximum amount of emails to send is queued (could be 100 at a time).
Generally it is the cron job on your server that controls this and the server setup. I am not an expert, but first thing is checking it sends out the mails correctly.
If the cron is setup correct and the server is setup correct then it only leaves the recipient. Generally it will go to bulk mail and if they will need to whitelist your domain to receive the emails correctly.
