Customers keep on ignoring invoice notifications so we have to make it that way. I don't think it makes any difference for customers like you if invoice comes 15 days in advance but the matter is mainly focussed on those who have their domains due for renewal.
If customers pay after a domain name expires then it takes 12 - 24 hours again for DNS to propagate which becomes quite frustrating for customers as well as our team as customers expect instant activation of their
website hosting on payment.
