Hello Simon,
It wont be possible to remotely connect to PGSql server from windows hosting account as Server running SQL Server service runs out of RAM incase of Remote data connections.
I don't see any other option besides a Dedicated server as
VPS Hosting will have similar RAM problems for remote data connections.
