There's still more to this than has been explained.

I have been using Dreamweaver (and previously LeechFTP) with my Eukhost accounts now for well over a year with no issues.

A few weeks ago (after all the ftp issues arose) I started getting the same symptoms as Frazer - i.e. conection was OK but LIST failed. After a while of messing around and creating new ftp accounts and then getting the password wrong I managed to get my IP address blocked. Once it was released everthing seemed to be back to normal.

This weekend the same symtoms came back - and I have virtually repeated all the above steps - including somehow getting the IP blocked (not sure how this time). One of the pieces of advice that has come across from support is that the ftp client must be set up for passive mode. OK - it took just a few moments for me to track this setting down in dreamweaver - but I can confirm that I have definitely never had it set that way before - similarly with LeechFTP.

I hate mysteries - because you don't learn anything from them - so can anyone shed some light - I am assuming there must have been some recent changes on the servers?

regards
Chris.
