Yeah it is. If you worked 40 hours a week at £3.30 you'd get a gross pay £528 per month and that isn't a lot indeed.

Then again it does encourage you to go to college and Uni and do something constructive with your life.
I think the reason for such a low amount in my NMW Act is to encourage you not leave school at 16
