Routers are a nightmare - especially when it comes to things like this. Even though I have a home network with a minimum of 4 computers connected at any time I still don't want a router. In fact I insisted my ISP took the router back and gave me my normal cable modem back and I just share the connection from the main computer. If you can get rid of the router I would.
