It doesn't seem to be used all the much anyway - I can't say that I have ever used a .mobi
website hosting or know of a .mobi
website hosting. The only thing I know about them is that they are expensive comparted to others such as .com!
When browsing the Internet on my phone I can see normal web pages to a suitable standard anyway so I don't really bother with .mobi.
So yes, I do think the end is nigh for .mobi especially with the revelations of the iPhone.
