Well Rock, I do agree with your point on limiting connections as
too many persistent connections can cause load on the server. But just 1 connection is even more than too less, don't you think?

Anyways, by MSSQL on local machine, I meant that he must have gotta test machine (server for him indeed) on which he must have installed MSSQL for testing and R&D purpose where the max connection variable must have been set to 1 and which he must not be aware of.
