Default 1 host, 2 domains... yikes. Help!

Hello all,

I have recentlty paid for the copper plan with eukhost.com, and now have some hosting space and a domain name. I would like to host a second domain on my eukspace.com space that I have purchased elsewhere.

The domain I own and is hosted on eukhost.com is www.twostepalgae.net, and the domain I own but want to point to space on eukhost.com is www.snerpton.net.

What I Would Like To Do

I would like to host www.snerpton.net on some space on eukhost www.twostepalgae.net, and would like this to be transparent to the user.

The Plan

I believe I need to do the following:

1) Change the name servers of snerpton.net, such that new ones are the servers of eukhost.com.
2) Create an add-on domain for snerpton.net on eukhost twostepalgae.net, which creates the subdomain snerpton.twostepalgae.net
3) Create an alias for snerpton.net on eukhost. to point to snerpton.twostepalgae.net

What I Have Done

I have done 1), as can be verified at dnsstuff.com. The output for snerpton.net:

Domain servers in listed order:
NS6.EUKHOST.NET 64.38.20.134
NS7.EUKHOST.NET 64.38.21.42

so I believe I have successfully changed the name servers.

I believe I have also done 2). In cPanel I added an add-on domain and the "add-on domain" pane now shows "Current Addon Domains snerpton.net (snerpton) [redirect]". On the same pane it says "snerpton.net is now being redirected to http://www.twostepalgae.net/snerpton//" This seems to have had the effect of creating a subdomain called snerpton.twostepalgae.net. This is supported by when I go to the address snerpton.twostepalgae.net, it redirects me to twostepalgae.net/snerpton.

The Problem

When I go to www.snerpton.net, I just get the place holder of the company that I registered the domain with (123-reg.co.uk). I believe I now need to create an alias for snerpton.net on eukhost.

The Questions

1) Is this the correct method to host a second domain?
2) If so, how do I go about creating an alias?

I'm rather new to all this web hosting etc. so any help would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Chris Ashton

PS I realize it takes up 48 hours for these changes to proliferate. However I made these changes about 24 hours ago and dnsstuff.com has recognized the changes I have made, so I presume I'm not falling foul of this.
