I could be an issue with the server as said previously but now tech support are monitoring it even more closely than usual, if it goes down, it should be rectified pretty quickly.
I had a similar problem on a linux server a few weeks back with the
website hosting becoming unavailable but everything else working. In that case it was because the service didn't restart itself but tech support got to the bottom of it in the end.
