I'm having a bit of a puzzling issue at the minute with mailman... I used to be able to simply send an email to
listname-request@domain.com and the server would send out the email to me for what I'd asked e.g. for SUBSCRIBE in the subject line, it would send out a confirmation email, for WHO it would tell me who was in the list etc. Now, I've tried on two completely seperate systems (one being eUKhost and the other a uni one) and this doesn't seem to work anymore.... Now it seems odd to me that both servers don't work any more. Has anyone else noticed things like that? Has anything in mailman changed?
If tech support people are interested, the lists I tried with you are
test@checker-design.com and
test@jcrass.co.uk, both on the Agusta server.... Tried to do subscribe requests to them both and got no response from the server... It must have got the email as I didn't get a "failed delivery message"...
