Moving big files and
website hostings like that can be a very challenging tasks at times. The way you described is the way I have had to move files in the past as well. There is probably another way, but I don't know of it yet. Unfortunately with a
website hosting as big as yours it can take a few hours to get everything up and running again
.
But the account has been fully set up successfully from what Mark has said and that was completed in a short amount of time so hopefully you won't have too much more downtime due to transferring files across.
Just keep positive and it will all be worth it in the end!
