I had a look at Agusta's DNS records and it's similarly configured to Viking in that the SPF record's IP addresses do not match that of the server?!
The server IP is at Rapidswitch (I thought they had all been moved to Maidenhead)?? The IPs in the SPF records are at Maidenhead, with two different companies and are exactly the same as those on Viking — this to me defies logic! Am I missing the plot here completely? It looks like eUKhost are using a generic SPF record for all their servers and I'm feeling that's a mistake based upon my own server's settings ...
Q: Surely "My server requires authentication" would be on in Noel's email client or the Gmail recipient (agusta -> gmail) would have been similarly affected?
Update: all my Yahoo-bound traffic is still being delivered without exception.
