The real question is just how much security and reliability you want on your backups and the ease of access to them. Although the standard backup is a very high service the additional backup plan just adds that extra safe guard and slightly more reassurance as well as greater control over your backups and their schedule - obviously businesses and other
website hostings containing information which can't be lost or would be very hard to replace would go for the custom backup plan.
