eUKhost are hosting an awards scheme for websites
hosted by eUKhost. There are four types of awards your website can be given.
Please note that we reserve the right to change the mark scheme at any given time.
Awards
Bronze Award = 0-10 Points
Silver Award = 11 - 15 Points
Gold Award = 16 - 24 Points
Ultimate Award = 25+ Points

Mark Scheme
Design (11):- Colours & Aesthetics: 3 (Colours which don't contrast that much)
- Layout: 3 (The way the website and the content is presented)
- Use of images: 2 (good images that tidy up the page, if they are needed etc)
- Cross-Browser compatibility: 3 (Judged with IE3, 6, & 7, Firefox and Safari)
Legal Information: (8 ):- 3-click rule: 1
- Disclaimers & Privacy Statements: 2
- Site Map: 2
- Search function: 2
- Accessibility 1
Navigation (4):- Clean and ease of Navigation: 4
HTML & CSS (6):- 1 mark if the site uses CSS
- 2 marks if the site uses CSS and the CSS is valid
- 3 marks if css and (X)HTML are valid (which is sort of a bonus for valid html)
