I've also tried free hosts and they're a nightmare..... Email is fine on a free service but with hosting when anything goes wrong or even a little thing you need, it can be over a week to get anything done. By the time one free hosts support team had replied to me, I'd already migrated away from them because I needed my website hosting back online!
