For the sceptics out there, I am a real customer and not connected with Eukhost.

I find that in business too many people are prepared to tolerate poor service - I am certainly not one of these. But I feel that it is also important to recognise good service.

Over the last week I have had a number of problems with my VPS Hosting, the most frustrating of which was down to the way in which I had setup my email. I put in a ticket early in the week but no progress had been made by this afternoon. So I went onto Livechat and ended up talking to Jack.

Now I am not, in any way, knowledgeable as regards windows web hosting (or even IT issues generally!) but Jack was extremely patient, took the time to understand my problem and to my delight diagnosed the situation and proposed a solution. He then asked my permission to give it a try, talked through the options with me and made it happen. He was polite, friendly and worked hard.

Now I don't know how Eukhost compares to the competition from a technical point of view. But I would say that there are certain people in the company who have given me some of the best customer service that I have ever had from a UK company.

What I look for in a supplier is a good product and excellent customer service. Too many UK companies offer an excellent product with poor customer service. With people such as Jack, Eukhost surely has the chance to leave the competition standing.
