I'm a little bit confused about the backup service, looking at the page it seems like it suggests I can use rsync.

However, I wasn't able to connect via rsync from my
VPS Hosting and raised a ticket: #AIU-83296-938
This was the response back:

To put it into context, I tried rsync over normal rsync protocol and over ssh. You can't rsync over ftp, so I'm not sure how I'll be able to use rsync at all.
Somethings not quite right...
