It may be best if you can copy your original web site hosting over to here including the forum with database full of members
then it would be as it is currently for example under your control. Then in time you could install an online portal like phpnuke or wordpress / similar and run that as a
website hosting? keeping the forum also. (website & forum)
It really depends how managed you want your previous web site hosting if its been designed for you, it may take a while to get to grips with it? but Im sure many on here would help
