Website Compatibility = No!
Calling all developers and Admins...
Started working (finally) on getting one of my actual websites up and running. Since I joined EUK I noticed some things just weren't quite right but I lived with it, like you do. But now that's come to bite me.
Like I said, I started to work on some actual content on one of my sites and it simply will not allow me to add content. I've been working away for months to find the right "look" for the site, now as soon as I try to write anything to it *bang* I'm crashed out to the front page of the domain (not the front page of the site, but of the domain!)
I thought this was a Joomla! thing at first, to do with the new stable release. No. Quickly threw up a Joomla! site using Fantastico to be sure it wasn't the install process as far as my intervention (fantastico still installs the old version) and it does precisely the same thing.
So I know Joomla! itself works, I've been using the technology (Mambo & Joomla) for 5 years now! I know the website works, a ported site from my old host works perfectly well - until you try to add new content! So then I start to wonder if EUK is to blame?
I go through fantastico at random, install a couple of sites and then try to add content. Joomla! isn't the only one that this happens with.
Has anyone else got this, or is it unique to me? Can anyone light a candle in the dark?
