MySQL is off and has been for a while now, its 3.45am - it may be the middle of the night - but I have clients who use their website hostings and expect full uptime. Any significant maintenance should be communicated.

@dps: I'm well aware of the support system and when I should open a ticket.

EDIT: MySQL has returned, but I still would like extreme events such as this to be communicated to those affected. This is the one, and perhaps only real failing of EukHost.
