Question finally

...So it does now seem to be active though I cannot check it at the moment. I have received the emails regarding the account information.

I never received any email asking for confirmation of address from anyone at your company, to either the gmail account or either of the private email accounts that have been provided to you, as I have said - the only email I recieved to my support request was an auto-reply.

With regard to concern over payment, the payment was confirmed accepted on 27th - the only reason payment is from a different address is that your payment company refused my father's visa card (no reason given other than the system seemed to think it was not either a visa or mastercard) and payment was therefore made through my own card.

I received communication during the transaction from my bank asking to authorise the payment and provide information designed to confirm my identity at the time, which I did so I'm not sure why your payment company then flagged the payment.

So to summarise:
  1. You did accept payment on 27th Oct: confirmed by my bank
  2. You did not reply to my support request late on 28th -or if you did, it was not received.
  3. Chat was unavailable (though I since think this may be due to some difficulty with internet explorer to give you the benefit of the doubt - I got through straight away using Firefox on 30th)
  4. On 30th chatting to your support guy no mention was made of difficulty with payment. He just told me it would be sorted in 15 mins - actually receieved the details after about 5 hrs
I'm happy to put this behind me if it all now functions smoothly. If I seem unhappy it's mainly because we were counting on having the weekend to set up a functioning website hosting while I'm visiting my father and that's now blown since I travel back later today.
