to the forum. I have answered all your questions below:-
1 What do I need to do to transfer my domains to eUKhost?
:- You can initiate the domain transfer at the time of package sign up by selecting the option "Transfer my existing domain"
2 Could I just use my Domain Auth-Code?
:- You will need to provide us the EPP code/Authorization key after you sign up with us. We will initiate domain transfer request for your domain after receiving the EPP code/Authorization key and you will need to ask your current domain registrar to accept and approve the domain transfer request.
If you wish to transfer a UK tld then you will need to ask your existing registrar/hosting company to retag the domain name and point the IPS Tags to “ENOM“. We will accept your domain name in our registry once the IPS tags point to our Tag.
3 How long does it take to complete the transfer?
:- Domain transfer process usually takes 24-48 hours for completion.
4 Will the websites be down when I start moving or will it be seamless?
:- Your websites will be down for some time until the nameservers propagate. You will receive the nameservers information in the welcome email, you can ask your current registrar to update the nameservers as soon as your receive them and then provide us the EPP code/Authorization key to initiate the transfer.
5 My websites are all MySQL database based sites so do the databases run on the same servers as the html files or on a seperate server?
:- Databases run on the same server as the html files.
