If it's a config problem in the
VPS Hosting then moving hard drives wouldn't resolve the issue. What you'd need to redo is start from a blank
VPS Hosting and reconfigure things before migrating data. As such, you would need new IPs etc.
I would suggest you open tickets via email if you're still having issues as it sounds a bit like a cron or something causing issues....
