Could I maybe pick up on one point though. Is there really no limit on max script size in php.ini? The reason I mention it is because I have stumbled over this problem plenty of times before. I'm hoping to develop a school webiste using a CMS. It will probably be cmsmadesimple which has modest requirements but I haven't yet ruled out drupal - and it needs at least 16Mb or it's the white screen of death whenever you add a new module.
Max File size limit in php.ini is 8MB on all our servers getting filled right now. I'm not sure if we have 16 MB on any of our servers, but I will get this confirmed from one of our system admins asap.
