Hi,
The
VPS Hosting's hostname needs to be changed from the hardware node hence making the changes in the
VPS Hosting configs itself, if it's changed from within the
VPS Hosting, the
VPS Hosting configuration files remain unaffected & the hostname gets reverted back to the old one once the
VPS Hosting rebooted.
As for now, I can see that the hostname has been changed within the
VPS Hosting configuration files too... now to what was desired..
