Remote connections not working.
Hi, I have been accessing my sql server databases fine using both visual studio and mssql server management studio and then all of a sudden today I get an 'error 40: could not open a connection to SQL Server'. Now this MUST be a problem with the remote connection settings on the server as I can access the databases fine from the browser using my login.
The problem is I contacted technical support and they told me that the remote connections were enabled and basically there were no problems. So now I am left without being able to access my databases to do some testing of which I need to get done urgently and I am positive there is nothing wrong with any of my settings.
