Default eUK Host VPS Support

Good evening all

I hope some of the eUK Host staff read this. I have just had the best customer support experience from any company I have ever spoken to.

I have been a eUK Host customer using shared hosting resellers account for about 18 months, and have only ever contacted the Live Chat support when I have had technical difficulties.

As I am setting up a web based business, I decided to try a Linux VPS server. I know absolutely nothing about VPS servers, and having done nothing except change my root password, I didn't have a clue where to start.

I spoke to Malcolm in VPS Live Chat who could not have been more helpful. He talked me through the differences between VPS and Shared Hosting, and how to get started with my VPS server.

Lets be honest, this is outside the remit of support. It is not a technical problem, but a gap in my knowledge which he was only to happy to fill.


As I work in a software support department myself, I understand the pressures of talking 'Noobs' trough things I consider to be basic.

Malcolm was patient, courteous and extremely helpful. I hope somebody reads this and is able to give him a pat on the back.
