Thanks Martin for your help so far. I am posting this publically in the hope that one of the mods/admins sees this:
The solution to the problem was to change the email script and I should go and change all other email scripts. This is not feasible when I have around 100 email scripts in different files!
Everything has been working fine for a year yet you change the settings without telling me and hence potential customers cannot contact me. Not only that but existing customers of mine are affected as emails cannot be sent.
