You will be hard pressed to find a responsible
hosting provider allowing more than 25 concurrent MySQL Server connections per user. Remember we are talking per user and not per account. On a shared hosting server, there are between 300 to 500 accounts depending on the server configuration. If we allow say about 40 connections per user, just try to imagine the resource crunch it would create on the processor.
