Default Possible move from VPS to Semi-dedicated

Hi,

I have had my Windows VPS Hosting for a few weeks now and must say I'm overall impressed with the service and support.

I am currently developing a new version of my website hosting (SQL Server Express backend) for release in about 2 months. After some heavy promotion I am expecting high traffic on the web site hosting when it goes live but after monitoring current resources on the VPS Hosting for current traffic am a bit concerned that high traffic will cause problems with only 512mb RAM.

I am now considering upgrading to a semi-dedicated server as the dedicated 2GB RAM will give me a lot more confidence that everything will run smoothly if the web site hosting is as successful and well used as I hope it will be!

Could someone please give me a breakdown of how a move to a semi-dedicated server would take place including down time, steps taken by EUKhost and steps required by me. I assume new IPs would be assigned so I'd have to update my private nameservers with these?

I am not looking to do this change for at least a month but would like to know all the details beofre I make any decisions.

Thanks,

Tom
