It is a bit silly, especially as now broadband seems to be cheaper in most places than dialup. I'm failing to see the disadvantage!
I know that the more I move forward speed wise the more I couldn't go back. I shudder to think how much of my life was wasted waiting for a dial up connection to load a page - I can't believe I used one for years but now I've got broadband I could never go back. Same when I put my package up from 2MB to 8MB - I can't imagine being back on 2MB now.
