I thought I'd have a play around and found something.

If you like to keep your website hostings tidy, ie not loads of subfolders for subdomains in the public folder, there is an option. When creating an addon domain normally the 'Document Root' will auto fill with 'public_html/some_domain.com'.

Well you could change this to something like 'addons_public_html/some_domain.com', thus keeping all your subdomains/addons in a tidy manor.

mainsite.com
- public_html/
anotherDomain.com
- - addons_public_html/anotherDomain.com
yetAnother.com
- - addons_public_html/yetAnother.com
