If I could get as much as 8Mb download speeds or something more than what I've got now, yes I'd not want to move back. I downloaded a Linux operating system the other day and it took 1 hour and a half to download - that is where I find out the disadvantages of 1Mb broadband :P.

Wow, don't think I could survive on that!!! Why didnt you just get mobile broadband? I get 8mb on my mobile broadband which is a full 8x faster than your fixed line.
At home I'm on 50mb - just about to upgrade us to 100mb shortly
