I am right in thinking all my client accounts inherit my IP address?

Your customers will need to use the IP based cpanel login URL till their domain propagates. cPanel login URL is same for everyone hosted under your reseller account. Their username and password takes them to their individual cpanel control panel once they enter their login credentials. Even those who have Dedicated IP can use the shared IP login URL (
cPanelŽ ) to access their cpanel.

You can ignore /home root unless your scripts ask you to put full path of any specific file hosted on your account. Your customers can see their
website hostings using
http://92.48.108.235/~demo56/ , so there's no need to provide them with any other temporary access URL. There are some video tutorials available in the cpanel control panel itself, so your customers will manage to figure out that all web pages and images need to be uploaded under public_html directory.
