I have watched this thread over the last couple of days and can feel every body’s pain eukhost and customers alike. I don’t have a windows account with eukhost and for one very good reason.
WINDOWS I mean common guys give eukhost a brake here, I am guessing that you all have data that is mission critical to your business and as such you as the customer should have backup plans of your own and not be leaving it in somebody else’s hands. Quotes like
Quote:

As soon as I have FTP access again I am going to do a back up of all the data I’ve not got and I'm off

are laughable at best, if your data is that important you should already have a local backup copy.
Ive been in this business to long to make empty promises and guarantees, the only thing I can guarantee is that one day something will go wrong and when it does go wrong it is likely to be a bigger mess if it goes wrong on a windows server.
Don’t doubt anything eukhost are saying to you and just let them get on with the job at hand, if you keep submitting tickets about the same issues its only going to take somebody away from the restoration of the server.
Yes I agree with everybody it has taken far to long to get this problem sorted but I will bet you this sort of thing will never ever happen again at eukhost as it will be a tough lesson learnt. Incidents like this have the potential to cripple a business and send it under.
Although very hard to do right now maybe you should think about the many times eukhost have come to the party and bent over backwards or gone that extra mile to offer help and assistance.
Lastly be nice to everybody when in business as the little people you meet on the way up the corporate ladder are the same people you will meet on the way down it if things go wrong.
