Massive downtime over past 48 hours
Hi,
Over the past 24-48 hours, my VPS has now been down 4 times that I am aware of, for a few hours each time (ranging between 2 and 8 or so).
Apparently there is come corruption or so in the datacenter.
While that may be the case, I would expect the problem to be fixed once the server is abck up, not have intermittent downtime - a customer even predicted when the next downtime would occur!
So, is this usual? if not, how long does it take for such things to get fixed?
I have asked on the technical chat and rang in, and was told different things - "we are aware of the problem", "There is a quota problem", "The filesystem is corrupted", "it will be fixed within a couple of hours" etc etc... no real consistent answers as it has been over a day since this stuff started.
I moved to eukhost from 1ad1 as my they were inadvertently blocking virgin media users for over 10 days and would still not admit that there was a problem.
Reading the reviews, I expected better here.

Secondly, if this is a major thing affecting many accounts as the advisors seem to imply, how come there is no notice available informing the masses of the problem?
