Hi Dave, what sort of regular website hostings are you talking about? I think going for private registration protection for any website hosting is good as no one wants their personal information to be acquired by telemarketers, spammers and also people with some bad intent. These people could extract the information they are looking for by simply requesting it via a whois search. Registering for this service with whois is easy and would cost just $5 for a year without compromising your privacy along with full control of your domain, so it’s a worthy deal I guess.
