Your backup was successfully completed last night and you can verify that from your backup account.
Most important thing to add over here is the new technology invented by our CRO for this backup service.
He isolated himself for last 3 days so we were not sure what was going on with him but today he came up with the solution which was very shocking as none of us ever imagined if that was possible.
He has written a perl script which will automate the complete backup procedure. Once you signup for the backup service your account is automatically created on the backup server and one of the staff member from support / billing department will just need to enter the username, domain name and IP address of the server where your account is hosted. Backup script will run every night at 3 AM and it will fetch backup of all accounts on the backup server from source servers. MySQL daily backup would be stored in directories with name Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on. One backup of home directory will get updated daily and one weekly backup will get updated every week.
On completion of backup users will receive one email mentioning that the backup was successfully completed. If anyday it fails for any reason then another email would be sent to customers with reason for failure. I hope you wont mind to receive one extra email per day. Security has been given utmost importance in this as the script will have access to copy files and folders from source servers but it wont have permission to SSH or delete any contents using rsync.
