I completely agree with you guys, manual submission is always recommended by the directories itself. Also, in some directories there are many different fields which needs to fill manually, that automatic submitters can't do as the information is limited in the automated software's. Also, via automated software's you will be able to submit only those sites which are feeded in that software. So, manual submission is always good for positive results.
