Default Basic IP address questions

I signed up for the basic Windows VPS package, W-VPS-01, some time ago - just to learn. I'm struggling to understand the IP address provision. Any insight gratefully received!

The W-VPS-01 has 2 IP addresses. The IP addresses management section of the Plesk Control Panel shows that one is 'Shared' and one is 'Exclusive'. What is the significance of this? Is it just a business/marketing decision by the company? Or are there accepted functions for these IP addresses? What would be the normal function for each address type?

A radio button on the Plesk control panel looks like it would enable me to set the shared address to exclusive and vice-versa. How can this be? If I'm sharing one address with others, how can I make it exclusive? (I haven't touched it at this point!)

The Private Nameserver information shows that the last 2 digits of each nameserver parallel the last two digits of the IP addresses. Is this significant? Is there software on my VPS to act as name resolvers? Do people linking to any site I've got actually connect to the VPS for name resolution? Or does eUKHost have a big server that resolves all? Are the matching names of no significance? Furthermore, the Private Nameserver Information section of my setup receipt shows the Exclusive IP address under 'IP Address Allocation'. What is this?
