Hello,

First of all, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused and also I'd like to request you not to consider my reply as rude or personal at all.

The backup we've configured for all of our shared/reseller servers are weekly and monthly reverse syncable [rsync] incremental type backup. But I would also like to mention that this backup is intended for restoring the data server wide for all if in case we have to face any mishap with our servers and/or Hardware crash/problems etc.

Still we continue to our clients requests if in case they delete themselves any data by mistake..

However, I have no doubt about your opinion/thinking and also you will definitely agree that its every ones responsibility to take a latest working backup of their web data on regular basis to avoid any data loss in case of any server side exploits or hardware crash in future.

Regarding Sheffield server exploit, so fortunately [Definitely hacking attempt is not a good news for any of us] it was only the index pages hacking by turkish hacker and we have trace out the exact problem of this hacking and hence we have updated/tighten the server side security and related scripts to avoid such incidents in future. Also we are trying at out level best not to compromise at all with our server side security settings for any of our clients if anyone asks for it to release the restrictions for their web sites.

If you still want to purchase an Off site backup for your domain\s then please feel free to visit our Backup Plans and let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
