cPanel control panel is much better than other control panels as the security features which come with cpanel are really good and cPanel leaves no backdoors for hackers or anyone else to create problems.
You can setup forwarders for parked domains as well as addon domains.
Reseller account is a better option if you wish to have separate accounts for all your domains but that way it will become more uncomfortable as you will need to login in control panel of respective domains to make any changes. I don't think that long list of parked domains or addon domains will make any problems for you as CTRL + F is always there to find your domain name.
