Default MySQL Hosting

Hi All,

I know nothing about MySql or current programming languages, but many years ago i used to programme in PL1 and DB2

I have a computer system developed by a colleague (who is not currently available) and i need some simple help

Currently i have an application (built in C++) running on a Mysql database, it is currently stand alone on a single PC (Windows).
I also have a copy of the complete system running on a different PC.

Both PC's are networked fine, but the applications do not talk to each other accross the network.

Both systems work fine as stand alone systems, what i want to do is use a single database on one PC and use the client application on both machines to opperate on the single database.

I'm sure this is simple to do, but i dont know how to do it (told you i was a Newbie Idiot ), i guess its something to do in the ODBC driver config.

I would appreciate any help going.

Happy to talk on the phone, if it helps.

Thanks folks

Steve
