that is a shared IP - and many accounts, each with multiple
website hostings share it. When the domain is finally propagated the nameservers at that IP will then filter your domain name through to your account and the relevant folder therein.
As for knowing which folder to place your visible html documents, if you're on a windows server it will most likely be the www directory; if you're on a linux hosting it'll most likely be the public_html directory.
