Thanks for the prompt reply - and on a Sunday too
"we can provide you with preferred .name domain for £15 per year."
Not sure what this means and I may have asked my question badly. I already own the .name domain (and the .com and .co.uk, all through 1&1) and would like webspace for it (/them). I assume from your 'registration' answer that I can keep the registration at 1&1 but point the name server to eukhost? Would it still be within the same package?
Thanks for the prices.
Back to registrations - looking at 1&1 the info they want is 'Primary name server', '1. Seondary name server', '2. Seondary name server' and '3. Seondary name server' - is this the info you send out upon registration?
In fact their registration for .co.uk is cheaper so looks like I would move the registration of the .com to eukhost and leave the other two. Thanks for the explanation.
If the .name and the .co.uk domains were registered elsewhere would it behave any different? Would it be one of those cases where you browse through the
website hosting but the browser's web address stays the same? (I'm not really sure how this works.)
MySQL - cool
8 months - cool
And hopefully I won't have to ask 53 questions before I understand.... although it is a challenge!
