I sliced my leg and work - and it hurts, just wanted you all to know (any sympathy is welcome ;))
Its lucky I'm a nice person otherwise "where theres a blame, theres a claim" lol - but I'm not that kinda guy!!

Theres building work going on, and theres a machine which "cuts" things and it has jagged metal teeth on the end to cut the things and rather than cutting what it should have done the jagged teeth sliced my leg :(.
Maybe in the US - but you haven't seen my wage packet at the moment ;).

Oh! is that minor or you got stitches? I hope you've consulted your doctor and taking rest, wish you early recovery.

Erm, is relatively minor - it was a very clean cut (as you would expect) so the clot has sealed it back together - it sliced rather than ripped the skin and flesh. Well I'm being allowed to sit down at work all day so it does have a perk :D.

Haha, Similar situation. I'm now working from home until Christmas because of a fractured something or other in my leg.

Those sort of firms normally result in your employers pushing you out the back door as well!!! So you might get compensation (if you win) but you will lose your job - which is worth a lot more money to me!!

Cut reasonably deeply - its still attached to the rest of my body ;).

Thanks. The legs better now - next problem was losing my flat + contents without insurance to a devestating fire. Where does it end!!!?!?!
